Navaho blackberries is a thornless blackberry plant, a very winter hardy with no disease problems. It is compact habit makes it perfect for patio pots.
Blackberries like a sunny spot with well-drained, fertile soil. Plant in fall or winter. Mulch with grass clippings or shredded pine bark to conserve moisture and discourage weeds.
The plant will produces a large crop from Mid-Summer to Fall. In most reasons, this blackberry will produce twice in one season.
Plant Care:
- Choose a container 90 larger
- Fill in the container with regular potting soil.
- Add plant to pot, gently loosening the roots of the plant.
- Fill in soil around plant using regular potting soil.
- Place plant in a sunny spot. It will need at least 6 hours of full sun each day.
- Water your plant thoroughly around the base, allowing it to soak in. Continue to water 2-3 times a week, ensuring that the plant stays moist but not overwatered.
